TOKYO, Japan - Photo, taken in July 1992, shows pioneer feminist Yuriko Mochizuki, who died June 9 of age-related illness in Tokyo. She was 100. Mochizuki, whose real name was Yuri Furukawa, began a literary magazine in 1928 with other feminists to give female writers an opportunity to publish their work. She was photographed before hanging scrolls by Japanese painter Yumeji Takehisa at the Takehisa museum in Tokyo, for which she acted as a model.
