On Friday evening, the Russian military carried out two strikes on Zaporizhzhia and Zaporizhzhia district. The first strike that targeted a residential area in the regional centre destroyed a car repair shop and damaged nearby homes and shops. At least ten people were killed and 22 people got injured. The second strike hit an open area in Zaporizhzhia district. According to the Zaporizhzhia Regional Police, Russian troops attacked the city with FAB-250 bombs with UMPC kits (unified planning and correction module).

Deadly Riots Sweep New Caledonia Capital - Noumea

Saturday, May 18, 2024 - Noumea - remains of the docks destroyed during the fires started by rioters in the Normandie area One more person was killed Saturday and two injured in France's Pacific territory of New Caledonia as security personnel tried to restore order after a fifth night of riots and looting that has now claimed six lives. For almost a week, the usually unhurried oceanside city has been convulsed. Two gendarmes have been killed: one shot in the head and a second shot in friendly fire, officials said. Three other people, all Indigenous Kanaks, have also been killed: a 17-year-old and two men aged 20 and 36. For almost a week, the usually unhurried oceanside city has been convulsed. Two gendarmes have been killed: one shot in the head and a second shot in friendly fire, officials said.
