She rushed back and opened the freezer drawer, where the cat emerged, walking stiffly and unsteadily from the cold. The clip ends as the cat moves away, leaving the open drawer and empty freezer behind.

Takumi Eyes, NTT Communications

NTT Communications Corporation (NTT Com) has developed "Takumi Eyes," a system that can identify and track a person even when only the back of the person's head is visible in security camera footage. Using the child's face image and full body image at that time, real-time tracking can be initiated for quick detection. In a demonstration experiment conducted by NTT Com, the detection rate of specific persons was increased from 17% to 82% when using Takumi Eyes in places where visual video surveillance was used. The time required for the security guards to check the video images was also reduced to a quarter because the video checking process was automated.
