Cartoonist Tezuka's characters used to promote fencing

TOKYO, Japan - The Japan Fencing Federation unveils in Tokyo on Jan. 12, 2015, new characters produced jointly with Tezuka Productions Co., an animation production company created by the late cartoonist Osamu Tezuka, for use in a publicity blitz for the sport. The characters include "Astro Boy" while Yuki Ota, a two-time Olympic foil silver medalist, and six other medalists will also be drawn as Tezuka characters for the campaign.
