GSDF mission returns from Golan Heights

Twenty members of the Ground Self-Defense Force (GSDF) arrive at Narita airport Feb. 1 from the Israeli-occupied Golan Heights after a 6-month U.N. peacekeeping operation. They are the first group of a 43-member contingent, the sixth unit to be sent by Japan to the Syria-based U.N. Disengagement Observer Force, and carried out transport tasks. ==Kyodo
