More than 380,000 people fled their homes across the Visayas, southern Luzon, and northern Mindanao. Heavy rain swept through southern parts of the island, with some areas experiencing torrential downpours and localized extreme rainfall. According to China National Radio, by June 15, Typhoon Wutip had weakened into a tropical depression after moving inland into Jiangxi Province, and continued to lose strength.
