China: Cat Dominates Shiba Inu After Paw Provocation

On November 19, 2025, in Jiangsu Province in eastern China, a video captured a domestic standoff between a blue cat and a Shiba Inu. The two were lying on a blanket when the dog reached out with a paw, seemingly trying to provoke the cat. The hefty blue cat quickly retaliated, delivering a series of swift paw strikes. Clearly outmatched, the Shiba Inu let out a frustrated protest before giving up and lying back down. Victorious, the blue cat fixed its gaze on the dog, firmly asserting control over the situation.

On October 6, 2025, in Shandong Province, a corgi visiting its owner’s hometown found itself in a fierce barnyard standoff. When a white goose tried to chase the small dog from the courtyard, the corgi barked back and lunged, dodging pecks and countering with quick snaps.
