7 Palestinians Killed In Israeli Raids - West Bank

A Palestinian man staring bitterly at the ruins after the Israeli army withdrew from the Tulkarm Refugee Camp. The area was under an Israeli attack for about 16 hours since nightfall that left a great deal of destruction in Tulkarm, West Bank on July 23, 2024. The Israeli military and police on Tuesday killed seven Palestinians in two clashes in the West Bank, said Palestinian sources. Four men, including Palestinian militants affiliated with Hamas and the Fatah movement, were killed in an Israeli drone attack in the Tulkarm camp in the northern West Bank, according to Palestinian security sources. (231229) -- URUMQI, Dec. 29, 2023 (Xinhua) -- This aerial photo taken on Dec. 19, 2023 shows a male Tibetan antelop staying with a herd of female ones, while another male Tibetan antelop staring from afar, at the Altun Mountains National Nature Reserve in northwest China's Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region. Winter is the mating season for Tibetan antelopes living at the Altun Mountains National Nature Reserve. The mating season is the only time of year when male antelopes are seen together with the female ones. Nestled deep in the eastern Kunlun Mountains, the Altun Mountains National Nature Reserve boasts a distinctive plateau desert ecosystem. With the average altitude reaching around 4,500 meters, the reserve covers a total area of about 45,000 square kilometers. Widely recognized as a "plateau gene bank," the reserve is an important habitat for about 65,000 Tibetan antelopes on the freezing and oxygen-deprived plateau. (Xinhua/Li Xiang)

TOKYO, Japan - Actress Mao Daichi staring as Eliza Doolittle takes a curtain call in the Japanese adaptation of the classic Broadway musical ''My Fair Lady'' in Tokyo on April 28. The play was performed for the 1,000th time in Tokyo the same day, reaching the milestone 46 years after its debut. The show, which had its Broadway premiere in 1956, was first performed in Japan in 1963 as the first-ever Broadway musical featuring an all-Japanese cast and the Japanese language.
