Batoufam chiefdom located in the West region of Cameroon was established at the end of the 16th century and is reigned now by the 14th chief. The palace of the chiefdom includes more than ten kinds of houses with different functions, such as bedroom, assembly hall, servant residence and garden. Unusual contemporary reliquaries shaped as statuettes of St John of Nepomuk will be taken to several churches in the USA by representatives of his native town of Nepomuk in the spring. The delegation will take the reliquaries to the churches dedicated to the Saint in New York, Chicago and St. Louis. The statuettes will contain soil from Nepomuk and also from Prague, where the Catholic Church martyr and one of the saint patrons of Bohemia lived and died in the 14th century.
