Japan center claims breeding success with bluefin tuna

WAKAYAMA, Japan - The Fisheries Laboratory of Kinki University in Wakayama has claimed a succee in full-cycle artificial breeding of the endangered bluefin tuna. Officials at laboratory said that although it had succeeded in the past in artificially breeding and raising bluefin tuna, it is the first time to achieve a full cycle, with the matured fish spawning their own eggs.
