The Nigeria Labor Congress and the Trade Union Congress said after a meeting with government representatives in the national capital of Abuja that the nationwide industrial action, scheduled to begin Tuesday, has been suspended for 30 days. The labor union leaders said this was to allow the government to begin the implementation of some of its measures to alleviate the sufferings of the people. Shoukry made the remarks during his meeting in the Egyptian capital of Cairo with UN Special Envoy for Yemen Hans Grundberg, the Egyptian Foreign Ministry said in a statement. During the meeting, Shoukry stressed the importance of an inclusive political process for all parties that preserves Yemen's unity and stability. He also stressed Egypt's commitment to support the UN efforts towards seeking a political solution to the Yemeni crisis and alleviating the humanitarian sufferings of the Yemeni people. For his part, the UN envoy expressed his appreciat
