To protect the workers from sunstroke, Yichang Public Transport Group has launched the service since earlier this month. Nine air-conditioned buses are allocated to provide rest places for workers from 12:00 p.m. to 15:00 p.m. Most of the buses are electric ones with low noise, thus making them a comfortable shelter to have a rest in hot summer. The mobile "air conditioners" are also equipped with daily necessities, including water and medicines to prevent heatstroke.
