Ukrainian Troops Deploy Poseidon Drone - Ukraine

Ukrainian servicemen set up a ‘Poseidon’ drone before flying it towards Russian troop positions at an undisclosed location near the frontline in the Donetsk direction, Ukraine, on September 24, 2025, amid the ongoing Russian invasion. The Poseidon drone bomber, developed by the Ukrainian company Swarmly and approved for use by the Armed Forces in early 2025, is designed for reconnaissance and artillery correction, with features including high-altitude operation beyond most Russian air defenses, resistance to electronic warfare, autonomous return capability, vertical take-off and landing, and an operational range of up to 150 kilometers.
