Mejiro Bailey, ridden by Norihiro Yokoyama, knifed between leaders Tagano Teio (No. 8) and Native Heart (No. 14) at Nakayama Racecourse in Chiba Prefecture to win the 1,600-meter test on turf in a time of 1 minute, 34.5 seconds.
