US: Shelly Fire In Siskiyou County, CA Burns More Than 3,000 Acres

The Shelly Fire, a brush fire that erupted in Siskiyou County Klamath National Forest on July 3, has now burned more than 3,000 acres as of Monday, July 8 with 0% containment. Hikers and residents near the towns of Etna and Fort Jones were evacuated.

HAKUBA, Japan - Nagano Olympic gold medalist Takanobu Okabe came from behind to clinch his second straight national title by winning the SBC Cup ski jumping meet at Hakuba, Nagano Prefecture on Feb. 16.
