TOKYO, Japan - Kotomitsuki, winner of last month's autumn sumo tournament, points to his name on a new ranking table at his stable in the town of Hisayama in Fukuoka Prefecture on Oct. 29. Kotomitsuki, who went 13-2 as a No. 2 maegashira to win the September tournament, regained sumo's third-highest rank of sekiwake for the Kyushu Grand Sumo Tournament on the new ranking released by the Japan Sumo Association.

NAGOYA, Japan - Sentoryu (R), or Henry Miller from St. Louis, Missouri, on June 26 holds a new sumo rankings list for next month's Nagoya Grand Sumo Tournament. The list shows he is to debut in the elite makuuchi division as a No. 13 maegashira. Sentoryu is the first wrestler from the mainland United States to reach the division. On left is Kaio, who takes over the top sekiwake position after winning the summer tournament as a komusubi. He will be listed at sumo's third-highest rank for the 21st time in his career.
