SYDNEY, Australia - Blind Japanese swimmer Junichi Kawai adds a golden glow to his collection of three silver medals with a double gold medal performance at the Sydney Paralympic Games on Oct. 28. Kawai won the men's S11 50-meter freestyle with a Paralympic record of 26.37 seconds as he finally beat Daniel Kelly of the United States, who had denied the Japanese team captain a gold medal three times earlier at Sydney International Aquatic Center.
