Glacial forces at the edge of Antarctica

Stretching 90 km into the Ross Sea, the ice tongue is one of the largest floating ice extensions in Antarctica. The linear structure of the ice tongue reveals its dynamic forward movement over time, shaped by internal flow and ocean interaction. Ice tongues like this change in size and shape over time, reshaped by calving events, waves and storms. Copernicus delivers key data for tracking glacier dynamics and calving events in remote areas. Dad Finds His Three Kids Stabbed To Death As Mum Flees - Taninges

NO PARISIEN - In the market square, tongues are wagging about the mother suspected of murdering her three children. Taninges, Haute-Savoie, France on 13 November 2024. A father has made an unimaginable discovery after his three children were stabbed to death at their home in France. The child victims, a 13-year-old girl and her two brothers, aged 11 and 2, were discovered at around 1pm on Tuesday afternoon. Their mother, aged 45, who is said to suffer from mental health problems, is considered a key suspect and is currently on the run, having fled into the surrounding area after the murders. Her car was found in Switzerland and a body was found inside. However, as of Thursday morning, there was no confirmation that it was in fact Deborah Pel, the wanted mother of the family.
