'Tonkatsu Street' staging campaign to promote pork cutlets

MAEBASHI, Japan - Yasushi Kaneko promotes 'tonkatsu' or pork cutlets in Numata, Gunma Prefecture, on Aug. 6, 2014, as he leads a campaign involving tonkatsu restaurants along National Road 120 near the Numata Interchange on the Kanetsu Expressway in Numata, Gunma Prefecture. Having some 20 tonkatsu restaurants, the section of the road in the landlocked prefecture in the Kanto region has earned the nickname "Tonkatsu Street."
