Takahashi takes lead at Four Continents

GOYANG, South Korea - Daisuke Takahashi grabbed the lead after the men's short program, putting himself in pole position at the Four Continents figure skating meet in Goyang on Feb. 13. Takahashi, who came second at last season's world championships, landed all of his jumps with near perfection, featuring a triple combination, a triple axel and a triple lutz to score 88.57 points -- the second highest score in the history of the sport.
