Rakugo storyteller Ryusho dies at 82

TOKYO, Japan - Popular rakugo storyteller Shumputei Ryusho died of stomach cancer June 16 at a Tokyo hospital. He was 82. Ryusho, whose real name was Yasuo Akimoto, was known for creating about 100 new comic rakugo stories and appearing in movies. Ryusho's hobby was playing the trombone.
