The famous Marineland water park, located in Antibes, in the South of France, is closing its doors on January 5, 2025 after 55 years of service. Many visitors came to enjoy the spectacular shows one last time, including the most famous, that of the orcas. Indeed, the park's two Orcas and their caretakers gave a very final show filled with emotion in front of a captivated audience. The end of an era. Marineland is forced to close its doors following the 2021 law banning cetacean shows. However, the fate of the animals in the park and in particular the two orcas is not sealed and worries the animal protection associations who demonstrated once again near the park on this day of permanent closure.
