Court battle between Samsung and Apple

TOKYO, Japan - File photo shows two smartphones -- Samsung Electronics Co.'s Galaxy(R) and Apple Inc.'s iPhone 4 -- at the center of a copyright case between the two electronics makers. The Tokyo District Court ruled on Aug. 31, 2012, that Samsung had not infringed Apple's smartphone and tablet computer patent in the latest ruling in a global court battle waged by the two rivals.
