Gov't, MMR maker to pay 155 mil. yen over vaccine side-effects

OSAKA, Japan - Hana Ueno (wheel chair), her parents and family members of two other victims of a formerly mandatory measles-mumps-rubella (MMR) vaccine enter the Osaka District Court on March 13 to hear a ruling on their suit demanding compensation from the state and the Research Foundation of Microbial Diseases of Osaka University.
