The government will provide power utility CEZ with a loan to fund the construction of a new nuclear unit at power plant Dukovany, Prime Minister Andrej Babis said at a press conference after Wednesday's talks of the Standing Committee on Nuclear Energy today, Thursday, May 28, 2020. Two out of three contracts between the government and CEZ concerning the new unit at Dukovany will be signed by the end of June, specifically the framework contract and the implementation contract, Industry and Trade Minister Havlicek said. The construction will be a turnkey project, Havlicek said.
