Honda Motor Co. unveils to the media at its showroom in Tokyo on March 7, 2025, a two-wheel vehicle in the shape of Koraidon, a Pokemon character from the Pokemon Scarlet video game. The jinrikisha (person-powered vehicle) is a two-wheel cart with a puller and a customer on the seat. Said to have been invented by Izumi Yosuke, it gained popularity during the Meiji Period. Toyota's new car inspired by horse-drawn carriage

NAGOYA, Jan. 17 Kyodo - Toyota Motor Corp. on Jan. 17 introduced its WiLL Vi passenger car, which has body styling reminiscent of horse-drawn carriages of yesteryear. The standard, two-wheel-drive model with an engine displacement of 1300 cc is priced at 1.3 million yen, Toyota said. The car's body incorporates grooved panels and a sharply angled rear window, which Toyota says evoke the image of a horse-drawn carriage.
