US: Flash Flood Warning Issued For Tucson Area

Heavy rain hit Tucson and parts of Pima County, Arizona, on Saturday, June 22, placed the area under a flash flood warning. Storms were expected to last through the weekend.

Mt. Fuji seen from Numakawa,Tagonoura

With Mt. Fuji topped with white snow in the background, a rickshaw, people and aged person appear on the wooden bridge over Numa River. The boat has one mast, and a square sail is placed in the middle. This is probably a cargo boat of the time called Bezai boat. The bay with Mt. A pine grove and Mt.Fuji is used for the background of a wooden bridge built over the Numa River. The boat is probably the cargo vessel of the time, the Bezai boat. The sail has been folded, and the boat is anchored with a straw matting. Tagonoura was a port of the Edo era for Sengokubune (junk boats with capacity for one thousand koku of rice) of the Shogunate that came in and out from Kashima, a territory of the Shogunate. This is a old-fashioned cargo boat, or Bezai boat. The sail has been folded, and the boat is anchored. Tagonoura was a port where boats used to come and go during the Edo period with rice from the Bakufu territory of Kashima. FUJIGAWA river and Mt. FUJI from iwabuchi,tokaido

Iwabuchi was a Bakufu territory located on the left bank of Fuji River. In the foreground is a boat which may have been used to cross the Fuji River. From1603 the role of commuter boats was designated, and 10 boatmen administered the commuter boats. Fuji River, which is known as one of the three fastest rivers in Japan, has many branches and has troubled travelers from the early days. A wooden bridge stands on the other side of the inner island (should be confirmed). Mt. Fuji seen from Kawai-bashi Bridge,Suzukawa

The former shogunate territory located on the left bank of the River Usui, with the Suzu River facing Suruga Bay. The photo is beautifully structured with Mt.Fuji and a pine boulevard, wooden bridge, thatch-roofed house, boat in the river and boatsman.
