China: Octopus Clings to Phone After Being Caught by Fisher in Fuzhou

In Fuzhou, Fujian, a video captured a man fishing when he unexpectedly caught an octopus with a phone stuck to one of its tentacles on September 28. The octopus refused to let go, wrapping its arms tightly around the device as if claiming it as its own.

Sattatoge pass and Mt. FUJI

A magnificent view of Mt. Fuji over Suruga Bay coupled with the Ihara Range. This photo structure is very similar to the Yui no Zu in the 53 Stations of Tokaido woodblock prints by Ando Hiroshige. Mt. Fuji seen from the Otome Pass

A vendor and road-horse man departing from the tea house at the ridge. Otome Ridge was located on the border of Gotemba and Hakone, at a height of 1005 meters above sea level. Mt.Fuji viewed from the mouth of the Numa River in the port of Tagonoura. Numa River starts flowing from Miyauchi (presently Fujinomiya city) and flows into the sea at Tagonoura. The white sail of a boat is seen. Mt. FUJI from okitsu beach

The area between Yui and Okitsu was the most scenic along the Tokaido Highway. The photo evokes the beaches of Yui in former days, with the steep cliff coming near the sea, resembling the difficult terrain of Oyashirazu in the Hokuriku area.
