Tokyo zoo panda shows signs of pregnancy

TOKYO, Japan - Female giant panda Shin Shin eats bamboo at Tokyo's Ueno Zoo on June 26, 2012. Shin Shin has shown signs of pregnancy, a zoo official said the same day, spurring hopes the zoo might see its first panda cub since 1988. The official said Ueno Zoo will suspend public viewings of Shin Shin from July 3 due to her symptoms and observe her carefully, as pandas often show false gestation signs.
