Mount Dukono erupted Friday morning, May 8 at 07:41 local time, sending an ash column some 11,087 meters above sea level and drifting northward. It was the volcano's seventh eruption in a week. Indonesia's volcanology authority PVMBG has kept the volcano at Activity Level II (Alert), warning residents and visitors to stay at least 4 kilometers from the Malupang Warirang Crater.
