France: Landes Wildfire Burns 3,600 Hectares Near Biscarrosse

A wildfire near Biscarrosse, France, has burned 3,600 hectares since Thursday, July 23. About 3,000 of 37,000 evacuees returned home Saturday as over 500 firefighters battled the blaze. A separate fire in nearby Gironde has burned 42,000 hectares and forced 220,000 evacuations.
