China: Family Rescues Cat Stranded Six Stories Up in Tree for Over a Day

This is the heartwarming moment that a Chinese family rescued a cat trapped high in a tree after it had been stranded for more than a day. On March 22, 2026, in Gongyi, Henan, the video captured a tense yet touching rescue as a small cat was found stuck at the top of a tree roughly six stories high. The cat had reportedly been trapped for an entire day and night, unable to climb down. In the footage, members of a local woman’s family worked together, using a homemade device assembled from an extendable pole to reach the frightened cat. As the pole was carefully maneuvered upward, the cat clung nervously to the branches, drawing concern from those watching below. After several careful attempts, the rescuers managed to secure the cat and guide it safely down, prompting relief and cheers. The video ended with the cat safely back on the ground, appearing unharmed as the family gathered around to check on it.

Clinging tightly to the rope at the back of the cart with one paw, the cat was dragged along the ground as the cart moved forward — yet it never released its grip. Chinese viewers laughed at the cat’s sheer determination, calling it “a foodie warrior who knows no surrender.” The video quickly went viral for showing just how far one feline would go for a tasty meal.

On October 2, 2024, in Shanghai, located in eastern China, a video recorded a humorous yet helpless moment at a nature reserve. A traffic officer stood by the roadside when several monkeys swaggered toward him. One bold monkey reached out and grabbed the officer deliberately. Seeing no resistance, the rest of the monkeys grew braver and surrounded him. Some even attempted to scratch or poke him lightly. Peru: Train Crash Leaves Passengers Stranded at Aguas Calientes Station

On Tuesday, December 30, two trains collided head-on on a single-track route leading to the UNESCO World Heritage site of Machu Picchu in Peru.
