Kaga hot spring village's stamp rally

KANAZAWA, Japan - Hiroyuki Yorozuya, a Japanese inn owner in the Yamashiro hot spring in Kaga, Ishikawa Prefecture, holds a sheet to collect stamps of tourist spots featuring cartoon character "Kagako" on June 24, 2014, in the central Japanese city facing the Sea of Japan. The new character was created to attract more tourists, especially young people and foreigners.

The Hakone post town

According to the sign of the house on the right, it is Hatago (inn) Yorozuya Chozaemon at Odawara-cho in the post town of Hakone when facing Mishima-cho. The street in the centre is Tokaido Highway. A few people are visible afar. There are photos with many people with the same layout. Sokokura Spa

This is the Sokokura Spa viewed from the opposite side of Jakotsu River, after crossing Mannen Bridge. The hip roof on the left is Jizodo (a temple hall where a Buddhist deity is enshrined). The house with a thatched roof before it is Yorozuya , Umeya is in front of that. The two-storied building on the right is Tsutaya. The house partially visible on the right is Sengokuya Inn. The roofs of these spa houses are thatched. Sokokura Spa

This photo was taken from around the beginning point of Seven Hot Springs Road. The road goes down to theJakotsu River from where the fence of Kikkaso ends, after going up present-day National Route 1 between Fujiya Hotel main building and Kikkaso. The house at the bottom of the hill is Yorozuya. From there, Umeya, Tsutaya, and Sengokuya stand. The roofs of these spa houses are thatched. Rice shop and a godown

A warehouse and rice shop built in two-story Dozozukuri style. A large cart loaded with rice stands in the shop, and about ten people surround the cart facing the front. Sokokura Spa

The Sokokura Hot Spring was destroyed in a fire in 1881, so this is a photo taken before that year.
