A view of the hot spring hotels in Yumoto from Usagi island on the peninsula protruding from the north bank of Yuno Lake. The lake is called Yuno (hot water) because hot water flows from Yumoto into the lake. The waters of Yuno Lake flow to Yuno Falls and become the Yuno River. Passing over Konsei Pass, the road leads to Numata in Gunma Prefecture. Lake Yunoko is located at Yumoto Spa in Oku-Nikko. The lakeshore is deserted. Mt. Konsei is visible in the centre back. After passing Konsei Pass on the hillside, the road leads to Numata in Gunma Prefecture. Yu Falls flow from Lake Yunoko into Yukawa River. The lake lies just behind the falls. The water tumbles onto the rock plate, widening near the bottom and eventually growing into Yukawa River and crossing Senjogahara. Yukawa River originates from Lake Yunoko and crosses Senjogahara. On its way into Lake Chuzenji, the river plunges down a 210m rock plate called Ryuzuno Falls. This photograph captures the basin of the waterfall. One of the three famous waterfalls in Oku-Nikko, it changes in beauty with the four seasons.
