Spain: Farmers Block Roads in Catalonia Over EU-Mercosur Trade Deal

Farmers in Catalonia blocked major roads on Thursday, January 8 in protest against the EU-Mercosur trade agreement. Protest organizers said the blockades would continue at least until Monday, as similar tractor protests were also reported in Galicia and other regions.
