Albania: Protests Continue in Tirana Over Kushner-Linked Luxury Resort on Protected Coast

Albanians continued to protest in Tirana on Monday, June 22 against a luxury tourism development linked to Jared Kushner, President Trump's son-in-law, planned on the country's protected Adriatic coastline. The demonstrations, initially sparked by concerns over the construction plans, have since expanded into a broader movement against alleged corruption in the Albanian government.

US: Green Algae Returns to Lincoln Memorial Reflecting Pool Days After $14.2 Million Renovation

Green algae has reappeared in Washington D.C.'s Lincoln Memorial Reflecting Pool, just days after the completion of a $14.2 million renovation project. National Park Service crews were deployed to remove the algae, with officials attributing the bloom to supply lines coming back online following eight weeks of restoration work. The pool's floor was painted "American flag blue" as part of the renovation.
