Daimler-Benz in talks to acquire

Daimler-Benz AG is negotiating with Nissan Motor Co. to acquire a controlling stake in Nissan Diesel Motor Co., industry sources say May 10. The German auto giant stunned the global auto industry last week by announcing a merger with Chrysler Corp. of the United States.
