Ancient Chinese sounds revived
The photo shows a replica of a 2,500-year-old Chinese music
instrument, pianzhong, on display for the ''Lacquerware from the
Tombs of Hubei, China'' exhibition that began at the Tokyo National
Museum on Wednesday July 22. The instrument is played five times a
day by six players from the Hubei Provincial Museum during the
exhibition that runs until Sept. 6.
