Cambodian riot police disperse demonstrators
Cambodian riot police disperse thousands of opposition party
supporters on Sept. 8 in central Phnom Penh, where they had been
demonstrating round-the-clock for more than two weeks. Demonstrators
are supporters of opposition party leaders Sam Rainsy and Prince
Norodom Ranariddh, who have rejected the official results of July 26
election that gave a narrow victory to the ruling Cambodian People's
Party (CPP).
