Yokohama BayStars capture Central League pennant

Yokohama BayStars manager Hiroshi Gondo is given the traditional victory toss by his jubilant players at Koshien Stadium on Thursday Oct. 8 after the BayStars clinched their first Central League pennant in 38 years. Yokohama beat the Hanshin Tigers 4-3 for only the second league title in franchise history.
