Mukai speaks to press before shuttle launch

Japanese astronaut Chiaki Mukai speaks to the press upon her arrival at Kennedy Space Center in Florida on Monday Oct. 26. She talked about her hopes for the upcoming U.S. space shuttle mission which will take her to space for a second time. Her six colleagues aboard the space shuttle Discovery, to be launched on Oct. 29, include Sen. John Glenn, a former astronaut who first traveled to space 36 years ago.
