Obuchi talks to Mukai

Discovery, at the prime minister's official residence in Tokyo on
Nov. 5. ''I would like to offer my heartfelt congratulations on the
success of the launching of the shuttle,'' Obuchi said during the
20-minute conversation which started shortly before 6 a.m.
