ASEAN, Japan agree to set up investment forum

Japanese International Trade and Industry Minister Kaoru Yosano (R) and Thai Deputy Prime Minister Supachai Panitchpakdi (L) co-chair the first meeting of the ASEAN-Japan Economic and Industrial Cooperation Committee in Bangkok on Monday Nov. 23. Japan and the 10 Southeast Asian countries agreed to establish a forum to explore means of improving the investment environment in the region.
