Ichiro signs record deal
Orix BlueWave outfielder Ichiro Suzuki smiles while talking to reporters after signing a contract for next season Dec. 16. The five-time Pacific League batting champion will make an estimated 500 million yen, becoming the first player in Japanese baseball history to earn 500 million yen a year.
