Astronauts attend emperor's tea party

Emperor Akihito (R) and Empress Michiko (3rd from L) entertain U.S. astronaut John Glenn (2nd from L), Japanese astronaut Chiaki Mukai (3rd from R) and other crew members of the space shuttle Discovery at a tea party Jan. 27. It was the 3rd time that Glenn, 77, met the emperor. They met in the United States in 1960 and in Tokyo in 1963, both times when the emperor was crown prince.
