Pro wrestler Giant Baba dies
Japanese pioneer professional wrestler Giant Baba died at a
Tokyo hospital Jan. 31 at the age of 61. Baba, known to his fans for
his trademark ''16-mon'' kick-and-chop techniques, had been a pillar
in Japanese professional wrestling, wrestling well past his 60th
birthday. The photo shows Baba fighting at the Nippon Budokan ring in
Tokyo in September 1998.
