Venus, Jupiter successfully photographed
A Kyodo News photographer successfully captures on film
Jupiter (near top of the photo) and Venus near the crescent moon in
the sky west of Itoman, Okinawa, at 7:10 p.m. on Thursday Feb. 18.
According to the National Astronomical Observatory of Japan, it will
be several years before the two stars can be seen again in the same
direction.
