U.S. Marine commander pleased with live-fire drills
Lt. Col. David Kelly, commander in charge of the nine-day
live-fire drills that ended Feb. 12, expresses his satisfaction with
the drills at a press conference on Feb. 20. It was the first time
for the U.S. Marines to conduct live-fire drills at the Hijudai
artillery range in Oita Prefecture. The drills were previously held
at Camp Hansen in Okinawa.
