Former Bridgestone employee commits 'hara-kiri'
A former employee of Bridgestone Corp., Masaharu Nonaka, 58,
is rushed to a Tokyo hospital March 23 after stabbing himself in the
stomach in a ''hara-kiri'' suicide attempt outside the company
president's office. Police said Nonaka complained to President
Yoichiro Kaizaki about the company, before stripping to the waist
shouting that he was going to commit ritual suicide.
