Mahjong museum opens in Chiba Pref
A mahjong museum, with a collection that includes the mahjong
pieces China's ''Last Emperor'' Pu Yi is believed to have used, opens
April 10 in the town of Misaki, Chiba Prefecture, east of Tokyo. The
museum was established by Tokyo-based publisher Take Shobo, and
displays a collection of about 3,000 mahjong sets from 20 countries
around the world, including Japan, China, the United States, France
and Vietnam.
